Art Series...and Free Printable Source!

Well, this isn't Monday, but I've decided to open each week with a series I'm calling Artful Mondays, where I'll feature sources for affordable art, profiles of artists/studios, sources for free printables, the occassional art DIY and ways to use art in your home.  I'll mostly blog about fine art (originals and prints) but since I do enjoy graphic art, especially in children's rooms, I'll throw some of that in as well.

Todays feature is Mr. Printables, the coolest site with amazing free printables.  They describe their site as "Early learning resources for preschool and beyond, kids parties and fun games for holidays ... it's about having creative fun times with kids and learning together!"  Check out what I found!

This crazy-cute U.S. map with "stitched" states.  It's also available in black and white as well as blank if you want to use it as a learning tool.

 

I love this Baa, Baa Black Sheep printable.

 



 

This alphabet poster is available in English, Spanish and French!  So adorable.

 

You could totally decorate your entire nursery with these free printables.  And there's even a few that I think are fun for adults.

And I can't wait to use the Advent version.  Oooh, why wait for Advent?  I'm totally having a brainstorm that you can use this to count down to anything since it isn't Christmas themed.  And each little box is separate so you don't have to use 24 days.  Easter? With a chocolate egg under each house?  So fun, right???  There's even a black and white version so the kids (or you) can decorate the houses any way they want.

 

 

What I've highlighted here is just a small sample of the awsomeness that is Mr. Printables so you have to go visit yourself.  They have a blog and a very cool Pinterest collection that I'm following, too!
