Gold Stamped Valentine Ornaments

You'll need:

oven-bake craft clay
heart shaped cookie cutter
rolling pen
letter stamps
gold paint and brush or paint pen
fine grit sandpaper
string or ribbon

If you don't want to leave an impression in the clay, you can just stamp the ornaments using an ink pad after they completely dry.

Rub the sandpaper right over the letters.  Any smudges will come right off and the paint will be left in the impressed letters.

Is that weird to say "blow the dust off?"  That's what I did, but I guess a normal person would wipe it off with a cloth or paper towel.  That works, too!

M + B are for "Michele and Brendan."  I was going to put my husband's initial first but of course that would read B + M which is too much like BM which is, well, you get it...

*Update: I hung my ornaments from branches that I put in this gold-painted vase I made.
